The Scarecrows [Late '96]

One day a family, Joe, the dad, Tiff, the mom, Chris, me. We all were seting [setting] up a scarecrow, becuase [because] we had corn planted. That night a U.F.O came and put something eveil [evil ] in all the scarecrows. the nexted [next] day my scarecrow was trying to attack me My parents were at the store getting some food for our dinner that night.
The scarecrow threw glass at me. The scarecrow tried to kill me. When mom and dad got home, I told them everything. Thay [they] did not beleiv [believe] me.

I told my parents to stay home that night, and I'll show you it tried to kill me. That night nothing happend [happened]. "We told you no to read them books by Chris S. Early." thay [they]said.

My mom and dad went to a party that lasted from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. So the scarecrow had most of the day to try to kill me. I tried to keep the monster, scarecrow, out of the house but he got a baord [board] and nockt [knocked ] the door down, I pickt [picked] up a two by four and nocked [knocked] the scarecrow the the ground when he came in. That gave me some time to hide. I hid inside a bathroom cabnets [cabinets].

By that time it was only 11:36 a.m. I was thinking to myself it sill have a long time to try to servive [survive] the scarecrow. then the scarecrow made this weid [weird ]noise that sounded like this, Eeeeeeccechhhhh!!! Then all the other scarecrows that the U.F.O. put efeil [ evil ] into. They all tried to find me.

They said "when they found me they were going to turn me to into a scarecrow. I said to myself "they arnn't [arn't] going to tern [turn] me into a scarcow [scarcrow]."

Then all of a sudden a scarecow [scarecrow] opened a cabnet [cabinet] on the other end. I new [knew] I had to do something so I went farther back into the cabnet [cabinet]. The scarecrow allmost [almost] found me, but he didn't.

Now the time was 8:43 p.m. I said "thank goodness it was allmost [almost] over."

Then I thought of something, hay burns and thats [that's]what they were full of. So I killed them with fire.
Now mom and dad got home so I told them now they bleved [believed] me.
